# Delivery & Transport

Delivery and transport cover what happens after fulfilment: moving goods from the warehouse to their destination.

If fulfilment is the stage where products are picked, packed, and prepared to leave the warehouse, delivery and transport are the next stage, getting those goods to the right recipient in the right way.

This section gives an overview of the main delivery options and transport methods used by Lexir. Some shipments go to businesses, others to private consumers. Some move by courier, others by pallet or specialised transport. Some stay within the same market, while others move across multiple markets where the relevant Lexir setup is in place.

### Main delivery and transport options

The main options in this section are:

* [Delivery to Businesses](https://docs.lexir.com/operations/delivery-and-transport/delivery-to-businesses)
* [Delivery to Private Consumers](https://docs.lexir.com/operations/delivery-and-transport/delivery-to-private-consumers)
* [Courier Transport](https://docs.lexir.com/operations/delivery-and-transport/courier-transport)
* [Pallet Transport](https://docs.lexir.com/operations/delivery-and-transport/pallet-transport)

At a high level:

* courier transport is usually used for smaller shipments, often up to around 30 kg
* larger shipments usually move through specialised transport
* heavier shipments, often above around 70 kg, are generally moved in palletised format
* transport can happen within the same market or across multiple markets where the brand uses the relevant Lexir setup

### Timing, conditions, and visibility

Delivery timing can vary depending on destination, shipment size, market scope, and time of year.

Many in-market deliveries are completed within 1 to 3 days, depending on location. Islands, mountain areas, and other remote destinations can take longer. Deliveries moving across markets can also take longer. Peak periods during the year can extend delivery times across courier and transport networks.

Some recipients can only receive deliveries during certain hours, through booked slots, or under more specific delivery conditions. In those cases, Lexir can look for transport solutions that fit those requirements.

Where possible, Lexir works with transporters that provide tracking. In some situations, some additional transport partners may not provide direct tracking, and Lexir relays the delivery information it receives.
